5You're stretching the definition of democratic especially if you're extending that to all of these countries that have recently experienced coups.
3Unironically the coup has given the people more self determination than being a Neo-colony. Democracy in those countries generally have just Europeans or Americans voting for the government instead of the people. And western Africa specifically has been exploited by France on record even after colonialism "ended".

I would say is "what is Russia trying to do start WW3?" But then I have to stop myself because as a USA citizen my country has done and still does the same things. It just feels like the point of governments and society is so we can collectivly find better solutions to our problems not to topple other societies for our own gain.
-12You think Russia is toppling African countries for its own gains? It's far more likely that it's providing material support for anti-imperialist and decolonial movements in order to open up more fronts that the North Atlantic has to deal with.
