This article is perhaps the most idiotic pro-AI propaganda yet published on a mainstream news site, but I gotta emphasize 'yet'.
I would really like an answer to that.
The answer is, if Kamala Harris says anything less than wholeheartedly supportive of Israel's ongoing war crimes, she'll be slammed all across the media for anti-Semitism. That's rancid but it's a fact, so she's probably politically smart to shut up about it until after the election.
I strongly suspect that if she wins, Ms Harris still won't say much about the genocide. But... she's better than Trump, on this and every issue.

I do dearly love and frequently use the Internet Archive, but I don't even know what they were thinking. Like it or not (and generally, I don't), we live in a capitalist society, so of course you can't scan books currently in print and for sale, to be uploaded and shared on the internet, without permission from the publishers.
This is comedy.
The big mistake would be imagining that Ford or other giant corporations ever gave a damn about diversity, equality in the workplace, etc.

I've spent a grand total of about four hours in Minnesota, but The Star Tribune, or Strib, was my favorite regional paper when I lived in Wisconsin. It's solid and surviving, at least in part because it has a deep-pockets owner who's willing to spend. Now it's getting bigger and better, which is rare and exhilarating.

Agreed 105%, plus it's also just plain stupid. Nobody within half a mile of Trump's inner circle has any real competence, so the idea that any/all of them could successfully pull off a faked assassination is probably more absurd than flat earthers telling us the moon landing was rigged.
