This one is almost too true to be funny. Almost.
  • It's just a common brand worn exclusively by members of Y'allqaeda. Living in the south I see atleast a dozen of these guys a day.

Seeing more Cybertrucks in the Twin Cities
  • My neighbor has one that he parked outside under a tree. Lo and behold a spot of rust appeared on the rear quarter panel after about two weeks of ownership. He promptly wrapped the thing in purple/green perlescent which looks exactly as good as you'd imagine. Thankfully he parks it in the garage now so I only have to see it occasionally.

Bubba Ho Tep (2002) Full Movie
  • I love Bruce Campbell and again this type of movie is right up my alley, but for whatever reason it just didn't hit. Too many jokes about his rotting penis I think.

Bubba Ho Tep (2002) Full Movie
  • This is genuinely one of the most bizarre films I've ever seen. I watched it with some friends and we were all confused about how the hell it got made. Honestly we were a little disappointed, the idea of geriatric Elvis fighting a mummy is very appealing but the writing and plot just aren't the best. There's definitely good moments and maybe worth a watch if you're into these weird B C movies, but not something I'd recommend to most people.

Everett keeps track of your nana's deaths (April 22, 1907)
  • The whole joke of this comic is someone does something the audience is meant to dislike and then Everett goes entirely overboard and beats their ass for the audacity to commit a feaux pas. It's a little repetitive but cut it some slack, it is over 100 years old.

  • Betraying my age but Ratchet and Clank on the PS2. Great game still definitely holds up, even graphically to some extent.

‘I love my little town’: A 21-year-old in Georgia is the youngest woman mayor in US history
  • I agree that having a 21 year old mayor is crazy, but I think you're misunderstanding the context here. There are no HOAs within 20 miles of this community. It's incredibly rural, with most houses "in town" being on plots of at least half an acre. Most of the residents live outside of that area and are on significantly larger plots of land. It seems like the community just really liked her dad and decided to stay with what they know, or at least the closest thing to that.

‘I love my little town’: A 21-year-old in Georgia is the youngest woman mayor in US history
  • I have family that lives about 50 miles from this town. It's a drive through town with ~500 residents, the biggest businesses are Dollar General and Wendy's. I would be shocked if there were any substantial donors to her campaign

Lemmy is the best social media
  • I kind of like the size to be honest, feels more like I'm having an impact by commenting instead of just getting added to the bottom of a 2000 comment post. I never really commented on the other site for that reason.

Ratchet and Clank: Rift Apart - Promo Art by Paul Sullivan
  • That game has been on my wishlist since before release, still looking forward to getting around to playing it. The original game was the first real video game I got into as a kid so I hope this one lives up to expectations.
