Funny that you mentioned 2048 specifically, that one got me on the high way one time. For half a second I thought I could get past traffic if I compressed all the cars in front of me into the right lanes.
I gotta disagree there. My yard even when mowed is a haven for all sortsa critters. Lizards, squirrels, and birds prance around by day, and at night you can find hundreds of varying spiders and wasps hunting smaller insects. Rocks might afford some of that but just about nothing would be happy with plain sand backyard. Then again, I live in an area with lots of rain and no shortage on water.
I try to mow pretty high and I let it grow for a few weeks between, but unfortunately I cant just leave it be due to my hoa.
Yeah but 6969 is pretty bright!
They're not defending Biden personally, and they're not saying you shouldnt protest. They're saying "Don't forget, on election day you still have to go and vote for Biden because Trump will be worse". Unless you've got a better proposal on how to handle the election specifically, their point is perfectly relevant and doesn't undermine anything in your post.
Its 4-player coop in-mission, but there is a meta-game where the entire community contributes towards spreading or defending democracy across several planets neighboring super-earth. So this week one faction might have gained some ground, so everyone is encouraged to fight on that front, but the next week there might be an order to push back the border of the opposite faction. I believe there is one person, Joel, who is in charge of playing dungeon master for the overarching war.
At a player level, the status of the war will determine which planets are available to do missions on and what your personal challenges will be set to (to reward you for contributing to the cause). This updates on a near daily cycle and adds a bunch of great variety to the environments and challenges you'll face.
Nah nah, you get split up by difficulty. At first you only have access to level 1 difficulty, and you gain difficulty level access by accomplishing missions in each level (up to 9). Chances are, you'll be playing with fellow rookies until about 5 or 6. By the time you've hit difficulty 5 you'll have a full arsenal of very competent gear, helped very much by the fact that some of your starting gear is actually still very viable mid/late game.
In my area, I'll hear cars intentionally tuned to backfire probably multiple times a day. It's extremely annoying and sounds very similar to gunshots.
The way I see it, Dark Matter is just a psuedonym for "Whatever is causing gravity to work differently at a galaxy scale than at a solar system scale". And further, Dark Energy is just a term for "Whatever is causing gravity to work differently at an inter-galactic scale than at a intra-galactic scale or solar system scale".
But, if we want to entertain the technical aspects of the thought, there's nothing in the definition of Matter that says it interacts with anything besides gravity (light, magnetism, etc) on its own. Just that it has mass (ie generates gravity) and cant occupy the same space as other mass. We already know via colliders that the higs bosson is the sub-particle solely responsible for Mass, way smaller than the scale of an atom. And we also know that magnetism, electric charge, and by extension light rely on electrons, which exist only at the atomic scale. So its not implausible to think that mass can exist separate from any of the things that we can detect with our other favorite methods (pretty much just different wavelengths of light) besides just the gravity they generate. In this case, gravity IS the thing we're using to detect it.
The AI really just said "Stop being such a try-hard, its a game."
Ironically enough, starting with Philosophy gets you to a loop that includes "logic", "reason", and a few others, but never leads back to philosophy.
If by emulation you mean your ability to emulate, absolutely not. Its a portable program, you can find countless mirrors of the downloads or ask someone you know and trust for a copy. If you mean active development in 3DS emulation... Yeah probably dead.
Its sorta funny and cathartic reading your comment. I'm not a dad, but I did just get a house with a yard. Lately yardwork, which is something I HATED as a kid, has become quite a hobby for me too.
I find it hard to play very immersive AAA games nowadays, but I do use my steam deck for short indie games or nostalgia plays of old protable games via emulator. I find if I just keep it charged and near my bed or couch, I'll reach for it whenever I'd otherwise scroll social media.
I have no clue about the old launcher, but the current launcher allows you to select any version all the way back past alpha. It was a lot of fun to try to hunt down which version I probably first played.
I can't be the ONLY one excited about a new Endless Ocean. The last one came out during the Wii era and was such a beatiful, chill, and hella educational game.
Idk what it is, but your comment has gotta be one of the most well crafted and funny comments I've ever seen. I swear it reads like poetry.
Somebody has never taken mythology.
Spoiler Alert: Every story ever told has been told 1000 times before. Its the natural consequence of being part of a species that has had language for 12000 years and is obsessed with storytelling. What matters is the execution, not how unique the idea is.
My work calls for me to log addresses and map them out a ton. I can tell you from experience that there can be an 1191 11th Ct, 1191, 11th Ave, and 1191 11th Dr all within one block. It's infuriating enough for me just mixing them up, I can't imagine driving around not realizing that the other two even exist would make it way more confusing.
Gotta agree with you bud. America certainly should change for the better, but this post is some privelaged ass shit. All these people downvoting should talk to someone who escaped cuba or who has friends and family who died on the west bank last month.
Portal RTX looked amazing. But it was a short game and many of the environments are aesthetically samey. I am wildly excited for HL2 to get the same treatment with all its varied environments.
