I'm Gen Z. I have never been polled. I've asked probably close to 20 of my other Gen Z friends if they've ever been polled. Literally none of them had been, even the ones in swing states.
From that, I gather Gen Z is massively underreported in polls. Good news is, it seems like at least 3/4 of us, if not more, are very left.
We knew when you advocated for driving high that you do drive high. You pothead losers are all the same.
Yeah, I also agree she doesn't really deserve to be in this meme. She's not as bad as the others on here. However, I suspect the original creator put her on the meme so this discussion could be had, which is honestly very smart.
At the end of the day, I think it should be criminal to hoard the amount of wealth that constitutes being a billionaire. I would "take action" against any and all billionaires given the circumstances, even Taylor Swift. Eat the rich. Distribute the wealth.
Of course we'll never see a world where "everyone just does what they love for free bro." However, that does not mean that we shouldn't demand a world where resources are not hoarded by the few. Too many have too little, and too many are without. There's no excuse for that. Yes, some of these people are misguided, but I have far more respect for them for questioning the current system than those who are fine with the way things are.
No, not through her own productivity. At the start of her career, she had numerous song writers who were arguably exploited in that they are not getting a cut of her earnings. Even now, she doesn't play every instrument on a track. She has a whole team of producers. In concerts, she plays with a band. None of those people are making a fraction of the ludicrous money she's making for "her own product".
But beyond that, like the other commentator said, she has tons of staff of whom are exploited at a paycheck.
And beyond that, all of the merchandise she puts out employs many, many different exploited individuals to make.
Her concerts aren't how she makes all her money, but even then her private jets are awful for the environment, and her band does not make anywhere near the money she makes.
She has merchandise, stocks, REIT, etc. All of those have their own baggage and unethical aspects. I'm so tired of you people treating her as an exception. Nobody can become a billionaire without exploiting the labor of vast amounts of other people, including Taylor Swift.
But even if you want to argue music, she's not a sole instrumentalist and producer. She has a production team. She uses session musicians. All of those people are exploited labor.
Of course her fans should get to see her perform. She should not be allowed to be a human Smaug, and accumulate inconceivable amounts of wealth because of it, especially when the system begets even "individual producers" to exploit the labor of swaths of other people.
Nobody should be a billionaire. There is no labor that can be done to become a billionaire ethically.
The United States has always been the best place for the mediocre white man.
A "this is allegory, but it makes me feel good and I like the community." checking in.
Yeah, that's fair. Especially in somewhere like California.
But yes, it's absolutely wild. Just yesterday, in a very blue state, there was an army of Trumpers blocking like 3 intersections in their lifted trucks with Trump flags. They were screaming at everyone stuck watching the charade. It's gotten, like you said, psychotic.
You're right. Tactical is the more common name. I see them listed both ways. But yeah, you can get those cheap as hell. While not beginner friendly, they'll do the job if the biggest concern is cost.
And that's true, but I think it's important to note that Trump is a symptom, not the disease itself. The disease is his base, and the corruption of their belief in democracy. I hope I'm wrong, but I feel like we'll see this level of politics for a while more.
But good on you for doing the footwork! And thanks for linking those instances!
Met my current partner at work. The funny part is I had given up completely, after going on dates with enough people, but just not really connecting with any. My previous relationship was haunting me, and I carried a lot of damage from it. I just couldn't overcome it, so, I gave up. Then, out of nowhere, this gorgeous, kind, bubbly, and incredibly intelligent girl just showed up in an IT orientation I was leading. We started talking eventually, and we've been together for 2 amazing years. I know it's cliché, but sometimes you find what you're looking for precisely when you're not looking.
Before that I dated on apps, and I can confirm it was hell. It's probably changed in the 3 odd years I was using them, but Bumble was by far the best app, at least in my area. On that app, it felt a lot more meaningful than Tinder or Hinge.
How has your dating life been, OP?
I think the best advice has been given by others.
I'm so sorry you're going through this. Feel free to DM me if you need to vent, or if I can do anything to help.
It's terrifying. If you're in a position to, and don't already have one, I'm encouraging everyone on the left to get a decent gun. Cheapest option is an assault 12 gauge. These people are full on, insane fascists. Their "day of retribution" will be a lot harder to impossible if we're armed.
Ah, yes. Trypophobia pancakes.
I'm not sure if it's still valid, but there was that whole debacle where he fired every secret service agent except for ones that backed him politically.
It would be pretty cool if SpaceX stopped speedrunning turning their surrounding lands into MadMax style polluted wastelands, though.
"Off with his head!"
I could think of one that would take care of Tucker once and for all...
I honestly didn't even think there was someone as vile as Stormfront alive right now, but here we are.
All jokes aside, the prophetic nature of The Boys is both impressive and nauseating. I hate it here.

Montpellier was certainly a surprise. One of my favorite cities of my latest trip to Europe.

You love to see it. Who's sleepy now, Don? Looks like it's your fans listening to you rant.

Quick photo I managed to capture as we were leaving the Sevilla train station, headed into the blistering heat of last summer.
Sevilla was a spectacular city, full of history, culture, and honey-sweet moments.
An archway in Castillo de Gibralfaro, a spectacular hillside castle in Málaga.
