Main issue is Lemmy is just...missing the really niche communities and cool people. It's the private chats I miss the most, and roleplaying with people. Randos hitting you up for a chat, or being supportive, who you will likely never see again is kind of heartwarming. It reminds you that all of us humans really are in it together...except the power tripping ones apparently.
One asshole was essentially advocating genocide, and I got banned for 7 days for saying you first.
You need to essentially be nothing but apologetic, even if you don't think you did something wrong. You also need to say what you did wrong, and what you will do to prevent it in the future.
Now imagine you had more than a good shot, and you where the one who rejected her. How would you feel, looking back and seeing you where an idiot?

When I got my first actual Job shortly after my 27th bday EDIT: 2022 December. And was convinced I would turn the company around with my hard work.
