Will the FBI knock on his door like they did Kathy Griffin?
Bamboo toilet paper is pretty amazing. It should be fairly sustainable since it grows fast and spreads like a weed.
Gotta sell more video cards!
Cons prefer money over facts.
That would probably be a waste of taxpayer money, if THE FED INVESTIGATION is even a true claim. The whale was already dead, and it happened years ago.
(Edited for clarity)
“The local utility says it’s going to need a million gallons of water per day and 150 megawatts of electricity — enough to power 100,000 homes per year. “
I wasn’t sure what they meant with that water usage. Like does the water get recirculated and it’s a one time expense? Or is it a million gallons discharged into a river or sewer ever single day? Is it tainted? Or just evaporates from a cooling tower? Seems like a huge waste.
That’s what neighborhood backup batteries are for. Drop some sodium ion battery installations in each district, smooth out the grid and keep it up and running.
If you buy an electric mower, you never have to change the oil again. Or the spark plug. Or buy gas. Or clean the carburetor.
So after they merge, who owns the business — AT&T?
Holness is awesome. Check out “Garth Merenghi” if you haven’t already.
I wonder if semaglutide works on cats?
With the Republican Party fracturing, you’d think they would welcome this change. It would help them get elected. But they aren’t smart enough to realize that.
Eleven years isn’t that long. I’d like to see designs stick around for 20 to 50 years. Redesigning and reprinting money is expensive, and it loses its familiarity and icon status every time it’s redesigned. You also open up confusion where it’s easier to pass counterfeits to tourists, etc. who are unfamiliar with which designs are accurate.
US bills should be different sizes for the visually impaired. The mint lost their court case, yet here we are still with bills that are all the same size.
I hate it when countries redesign money on a constant cycle (looking at you, US quarters). Hopefully these new designs stay in circulation for a long time.
I don’t see how this is any different then standing behind someone who is typing and watching them type on a physical keyboard. If you allow someone to see you typing, there’s no security involved there.
That said, there should be an option (if there’s not one already) to turn off the creepy external googly eyes feature.
What an asshole.
Gee, I bought this cheap made in China Android TV thing off Ali express, and I just can’t figure out how this backdoor got in here…
So I’ve got an old Mac I use as a Plex server and I’m considering installing Ubuntu on a DOS-formatted partition I’ve already set aside. What I’m wondering is:
- Do I just need this one partition, or is it going to need an additional blank partition for VM/Swap?
- can I install Ubuntu on an external drive and then clone or dd the external install onto the internal partition I’ve set aside?
Someone is jealous that another woman is getting Trump’s attention.
Reminds me of the “Shag” hairstyle from that period. Women had their own version of the mullet in the early 1970s. See Florence Henderson on the Brady Bunch and Jane Fonda in Klute.
But that’s ok because Nestle will upsell it back to you in a bottle labeled Ozarka after they’ve finished pumping it all from Canton.
So although Paramount is being purchased by Skydance media, it’s being bankrolled by Ellison of Oracle software fame. Why he wants to run an entertainment studio, I have no idea.

Because of Texas’ messed up “Robin Hood” school funding, a chunk of that increase would go to the state, not to Austin ISD.

Not that I should be surprised, but trying to watch it today and it’s just talk talk talk talk. Commercials. More talk. Overhead shots of the stadium. People walking around in the rain. Talking head. Cut away to footage of Carl Lewis bitching about something. Instant replay of something they already showed. People hugging. Stadium shot. Human interest story. Commercial. Shot of Eiffel Tower. Promo for actual sports being shown on Peacock. Etc etc.
Meanwhile you can see there’s sporting events going on because they are showing them on the Jumbotron in the stadium shots. Really no excuse for this since most of this coverage is pre-recorded anyway.
