2What is the difference between a road and a street (English is not my first language)?
1Streets usually have a higher density of residential buildings and stores along them, while roads connect between the populated areas, and typically lead through mountains, fields or forests.
5A road can be virtually anything. Gravel. Dirt. Or a kinda nice pavement. Roads are generic, and can take you out of towns/cities to literally anywhere else.
A street is at least supposed to be nice & paved, maybe some heavier concrete for durability. Streets are in cities & towns, connecting businesses & people living in a more concentrated urban environment. All streets are roads, I suppose...but not all roads are streets.
3the short of it is that roads get you between places quickly and comfortably, while streets are the destinations you go between.
