I saw more than I should've with the recent Kharkiv bombings by Russia.
Ukraine should absolutely be able to strike as far as they desire into Russia.
After all, it's not escalation; it's parity.
98It wouldn't even be parity. That would require mass targeting of civilians, which I doubt Ukraine will do even if they were allowed and able to strike deep into Russia, as well as using chemical weapons and all kinds of other things.

I'm at a point where I'm starting to think USA doesn't want Ukraine to "win" the war, just "fight the war indefinately". They don't want either side to lose, but they want Ukraine to look on top.

But while I disagree with it, I still understand their fear of a humiliated Russia, they're erratic at the best of times.
Still, they broke the peace of Europe, the price they have to pay for that is blood, and it is very high.

Took you a while to realize that war is a business
-8Well.....I took Biden at his word. I thought him having actual empathy meant he could empathize with Ukrainian mothers losing their sons. I thought the goal was to bring the war to an fnd without causing WWIII. I thought it was a balancing act.
But now I see no balancing act. I just see a never ending war, played like a game, with human lives as the game pieces. Thrown around like monopoly money. But these people are actual real people. Having their home invaded by a ruthless dictator who claims to be anti-nazi, but is legitimately the modern day hitler.
I guess I'm just disappointed in my country for treating war like a game, and ignoring the death tally.

I'm so proud of you. You figured it out Charlie! See the US is tooling up to fight China. Cuz China is basically supplanting the US on virtually every front. And despite all our big shit talk about fighting the next 3 biggest threats simultaneously, we can't do that. Not anymore. The military can't replace soldiers cuz everyone's too fat or too high or too generally mentally unfit to hold a weapon. All the force projection we have doesn't mean shit without logistics to keep it operational. The very last thing GovCo wants is Russia tagging in and helping China when we make our play on Taiwan.

I heard someone saying this would start a full scale war, as if the Ukrainians haven't already been at war and under invasion. Hitting the invading country inside its own borders is an old and well used strategy.
