Tabletop industry in full panic as Trump tariffs are poised to erase decades of growth

If you like your FLGS, or enjoy tabletop games, you should be thinking about what you can do to help stop the Russian backed coup that has seized power.

I'll be attending every protest I can, talking to my friends & coworkers, and calling my senators and representatives daily to demand they remove trump from power and end his illegitimate regime.

My side project is a small game company and we’re leaving the US over this. We got bit bad by the tariffs this year, probably putting us in the red.

Oh shit I didn't even think about the impact on board games. I'm not in the US but I assume a significant drop in spending from such a large market would have a global impact.

Looking at my shelf of mostly unplayed games, many still in shrinkwrap and the rest with the counters not punched out I seem to favour eurogames.

Last American made game I got was the Battletech Mercenaries kicksstarter. But guess what! Still got Clan Invasion mostly unplayed weird flex
