After work I have a window of like 4-5 hours to do anything meaningful. That means 30 minutes to an hour just to wind my brain down, 1 hour making and eating dinner, and the rest of the time before bed usually involves doing nothing but playing video games because I’m too mentally tired to do any of the other hobbies I’ve since abandoned. Rinse and repeat.
But it’s all good! I get a tiny window of 48 hours before the pointless grind starts all over. Plenty of time to get the multitude of chores done that I had no time or energy to do during the week.

191 hour for dinner? That’s why I stick to microwave meals on workdays. Done eating in 20-25 no problem, while watching whatever show I enjoy at the time
4We’ve been trying to cook more meals and it’s been nice. It’s just hard to stick with when you’re tired and have to clean all of the dishes afterwards.

3Yup. I’d kill for a 4-day work week. Just that one day would do wonders, and I don’t feel like it’s a lot to ask after the amount of work that’s been demanded of me in all of my years of employment.

12Give yourself some enrichment. It is not wasted time if you are doing something you enjoy. It sucks that not everybody has that opportunity in this economy, but to those who do, it is up to you.

I’ve recently got into car naps. Seat back, fans on warm, great way to top up the shitty 6 hours I get at night .
