My 1990s Stephen King paperbacks do too spark joy.

You got rid of your books because Marie Kondo told you to.
I got rid of my books because there's no space for them in my tiny apartment.
We are not the same.
You'd think people who claim to like reading would have better comprehension. It's not like Marie Kondo was saying to get rid of all books. But you may not need to hold them forever.
If you paid for the paper version you have every moral right to find it on the seven seas.
I do believe they were all purchased in this wonderful ancient book store we had in my city growing up which was in an old house, and the floors were positively slanted from the weight of books on them, and you navigated your way tentatively around towering piles of poetry collections. It was wonderful.
And punctuation apparently
This does not spark joy.
I doubt she wants you to get rid of books, given that the thing that brought her to prominence was writing them
She wouldn't want you to get rid of her books
She actually says in the book, if you don't want the book, you should get rid of it.
They... spark joy?
I've seen and even used the meme, but had no idea what she stood for until today. I gotta say, guests might disagree but my room is perfectly cluttered with things that spark joy.
I have no idea who that is.
I had to look her up. She's the "Sparks Joy" meme woman.
Marie Kondo is a Japanese organizing consultant, author, and TV personality who developed the KonMari Method for decluttering and organizing.
Decluttering definitely needs to be promoted but I did that by throwing away my cd/dvd/bd cases and putting the discs in binders.
The Four Past Midnight is a good book
I might have only read The Langoliers, because horror scares me, but I'm sure the rest are good!
I think Hearts in Atlantis and Duma Key are particularly good. I really like the middle period of King's books a lot. I like all the traditional horror ones too, but the ones that have a bit more in terms of relationships are somehow really good. The stories of Full Dark, No Stars is absolutely shockingly good in the darkest way imaginable, and The Man In The Black Suit actually won the O. Henry award.
The real conspiracy is how she knew about the apocalypse that far ahead. You're primed for bunker time, citizen! And, by that, I mean: the rest of your one-room w/ a bucket life. 🤘🏼🥳🔥🔥🔥🔥
Joke's on her, nothing gives me joy 😑 .
That joke wasn't funny.
