Education matters!
Education matters!
Education matters!
Should have went with my parents. "You're expected to get As and Bs. Anything else and you're in trouble."
Which taught me to only work hard enough to get a B in every class.
My mother wanted all As. I think I broke her when I flunked gym class.
Lolol the only class I failed was gym. My mom started yelling at me… I had to remind her that it was just gym not math and she let it go.
I don't want to one up, but I got in trouble for every A minus. My parents were petty bitches and my education system was easy unless you had a teacher who didn't like you. just doing the homework got you a B+
No money was promised, just punishment.
Can't wait for their kids to circle every "a" on the report card.
"Mathematics: D" that's $1k.
"Art: D" thats $500.
"Physical Education: D" another $1k
Al Bundy in the profile is a GenX-tier deep cut.
Shallow cut. Everyone knows Dr. Shoe.
My parents didn't have any money so it was some hot bullshit like $5 for an A.
I got this (1-5 is like A-F in my country, but I'll go with the letters anyway):
A = +€1
B = +€0.50
C = €0
D = -€0.50
F = -€1
Teacher's note = -€1
With some static monthly base. At first, the base was low enough I sometimes got debt as my pocket money in middle school...
Teacher's notes were even for shit like "doesn't have a pen" or "pencil not sharp enough".
Or greedy, that's an added bonus.
I can’t fathom calling my own kids stupid. Joke or not. If they’re not bright I wonder whose fault that is 🤔
Didn't call them stupid. That's derogatory. If they are not that bright I don't think it does any good to tell them that they are bright. Build up their strengths but don't mask their weakness. As to who's fault, crappy education system, genetics? An intern not getting oxygen to the baby until cyanosis sets in at delivery? Who knows.
"Isn't" that bright.
OMG I thought it said My kids ain't that bright and I was trying to make fun of it, but it was correct and now i feel stupid
Kids is plural.
"My kid isn't smart".
"My kids aren't smart".
Edit: I thought it said my kids ain't that bright so I jokingly said. "My kids isn't that bright"
I don't read so good
You kids isn't?
coffee
I'd just change my name to Aaron Aardvark and collect my twenty-five hundred dollars (minimum) per report card.
My real name actually has 5 As. Also, funnily, all of them are pronounced differently lol.
Scandinavian?
