Yesterday, there was kind of like a fair in town and someone afixed a lifesize bat decoration to a random lamppost. I was so confused, since we don't really do Halloween here, and yeah, it is also quite early either way.

Recently, my wife walked into the house carrying a bag of groceries that looked a lot like this but without the French bread. She commented that it was a very stereotypical grocery bag but, again, without the French bread.
This comic makes me think of that and I thought I would share.
