I've had a pretty bad and long relationship at one point in my life, I'm not exactly a young man anymore, and I still don't understand why the fuck anyone would think this shit is even remotely funny.

"Hard drive" is funny I guess because it can be interpreted two different ways.

The guy is not wrong. I have dozens of HDDs but he's talking about an actual hard drive. I also have a wife, 3 1/2 kids and my dog just died. I've seen some shit.

I can confirm. Not even loved ones make that drive easy. The Rockies are hard to drive over. Fucking beautiful, but scary

Ooh yeah that part going down Eastward past Vail is a hell of a nightmare drive. That road needs to be repaved every year with their rough Winters, even still the ruts in the road will keep trying to throw you into the next lane, while you're trying so hard to stay in your own lane, and the ruts in the road sound like you burst a tire. It's two hours of white knuckle driving.
- It was Montana westward past Yellowstone. I spent my life in the loving embrace of just west of the Appalachians and so I thought that since I've done my share of driving through Kentucky it would be bad but bearable. Then it started snowing at waist height in late spring. I wasn't prepared for that.
Those passes are an affront to the gods. Man was never meant to traverse them in a pleather seat with climate control.
The Rockies are the best part. Fuck fucking Nebraska though.

Hard drives are going to be one of those in between things that Gen x/millennials will understand, but were already obsolete by the time Gen z rolled around.

I’m confused, I call both HDDs and SSDs hard drives or disks. What’s the non-obsolete term?
- HDD is hard disk drive. SSD is solid-state drive. Though I still use the term "hard drive" to refer to both of them.
- HDD mean Hard drive, SSD mean Solid State Drive;

Hi I'm technically a Zoomer, I grew up with HDDs, hybrids and 32Gb SSDs. I'm just about 30 :)
