Surprisingly so. It's very difficult to remove the holders, and I print everything in PETG for added toughness.
4You aren’t kidding they are hard to move, I was mounting them backwards to work the layout out first but I just found this remover tool today and it makes it way easier!

Are the banners just fiction fit, or is there a mechanical connection aspect to it as well?
5The hexagon panels have a larger recess in the back, so parts snap in securely.

Oh awesome! I just saw this design on Printables today and really wanted to see it in action before I committed to the print. Thanks for posting.
Are there any print or build issues that I need to take note of, or is it as good of a design as it looks like?
5It's a good system. There are an insane number of tool holders already available for download, and it's pretty easy to design your own by sticking the existing male hexagon part onto a model in fusion 360. Note the direction of the hexagons when mounting the panels... I had these rotated 90 degrees at first without realizing, which means all of my tool holders would have been at the wrong angle lol. Had to patch some holes and remount the panels, ugh.

Looks great! I also thought about printing this already a few times. How big is your print bed and how many parts is the wall mounted part made of?
2I printed the panels using the full width of my large 300x300mm print bed. I have three of them mounted to the wall. There are several sizes available though, you can always merge more smaller ones.

Was the cup holding the canned air a failed print you just used as a shallow cup?
2It's actually just a shorter version of the tall basket model that was available. I originally meant for it to hold my alcohol bottle, but it was too small... then I discovered it fits the canned air perfectly.
