I would go even further. The southern half of so-called "actual Spanish territory" is actually Andalusian territory. As for "actual Germany", there is no such thing, or if there is it's just Franconia, as Swabia and the Rhineland have their own distinct cultures. And "actual France" should not include Burgundy or Gascony. And East Germany should be its own thing again, this time permanently...because reunited Germany has been a disaster.
Italy is a fake country, and I say that as an Italian. Any hopes of cultural unification were squandered by the refusal of the Northern elites to implement Land Reform in the South after unification.
Not really, but I figured the 3 most populous (and probably, considerably diverse) cities may as well get international city status. Also, the fact it makes England's borders ugly is a plus.
Yeah, my take on the French version is that actually the Paris region, surrounding departments and Normandy will be actual French territory while the great North (especially Picardie) and East (Alsace - Lorraine) will separate since they still have a bit of their own culture and language
