We live in interesting times when the USA, the land of the free and home of the brave, has to turn to samizdat to circumvent censorship.
35To be fair, samizdat overcame much greater obstacles than a school library not carrying particular titles because of the ideological idiocy of the school board. The Soviets were much more, ah, comprehensive when it came to banning books.

3They are not banned - they are being limited or removed so children and others that are not old enough for the material are unable to easily get at the material. Dont get fooled, this is just a way for weirdos and sick people to push this propaganda onto those that arent old enough to comprehend it.

I'm being gifted a Little Free Library for my birthday, I'm looking forward to celebrating "Banned Book Week" October 1st through 7th.
10The whole idea of book banning in the age of Internet-In-Your-Pocket seems silly to me anyway. It’s just a wedge issue designed to keep us fighting each other instead of paying attention to the massive wealth theft currently taking place.
