He did a fine job
(for clarity, this is from a tweet and not my wall)
Is there a joke I'm not getting?
49ReplyThis is justpost. Not shitposting, not goodposting. Just, you know, posting.
31ReplyIronic that fence has no posts.
10ReplySometimes a guy just wants to
dig a holebuild a wall. 4Reply
I had this thought. I think it’s because they’ve used mortar/cement when these are supposed to be drystone walls, and whatever the hell that concrete monstrosity is.
7ReplyA mortared cap is not unacceptable in drystone formations.
I bet the concrete was bought as pieces and just used as a "block"

A crew would have done a shit copy and paste job, this wall is a piece of art.
35ReplyNice wall bro
19ReplyAll the people being like "nice wall bro", not realizing you pointed out its not your wall lol
17ReplyI'm thinking of changing the post title to make it more obvious. Don't want to feel like I'm taking credit for someone else's project. I just thought it was a nice wall!
15ReplyWell now I feel betrayed. Dishonor! Dishonor on you, dishonor on your wall!
5ReplyNo! Nice wall bro!

Read? You expect them to ReEAAaDd?
I once replied to a comment about the first half of a one sentence post body. They didn't read the second half of the sentence. Comically they replied with it being due to lack of sleep. Love this community.
2ReplyAlso not that nice of a wall, it doesn't really fit the style of this multi million dollar farm house.

Good job man, the satisfaction from building something that's not exactly trivial yourself is immense imo
14ReplyI'll bet a crew wouldn't have included those awesome buttresses.
9ReplyYour girlfriend doesn't understand walls, and probably doesn't understand men.
8ReplyDude, now you just need a moat and drawbridge. That wall is thick. Nice job. Looks like it would stop a car.
5ReplyWow, well done! Must have been a hell of a job!
4ReplyNice work. York stone as well. West Yorkshire?
3ReplyAnd what will your girlfriend say when your wall is keeping the Mongols at bay?
3ReplyMy back hurts looking at it. Looks great, and good work on the heavy lifting.
2ReplyI am the crew! Honey.
2ReplyDon't let Ubisoft know or you're done.

Type of wall right there will stop a truck about to hit your house, that's a good wall.
Can't help thinking it's quite a bit thicker than you absolutely need, did you spend a lot on materials?
