I thought it was a bit of forced headline tripe they made him say to lead up into the joke, because as "open" as SNL is, they're still corpo-owned. Corpo-owned in fact by.... checks notes One Brian L Roberts, Chairman, CEO, 33% voting power. One person controls SNL, a large chunk of US broadband, NBC in general, Sky media in the UK, and more.

If you watch the clip he's only caught off-guard that the audience didn't even wait for a punchline; he clearly isn't totally surprised that people support him at all

- Stop saying you don’t advocate it. There is seriously nothing wrong with killing people who hurt other people, especially for profit. There is nothing wrong with advocating for their death, after literally everything else has failed.

The first video was a response from the police maybe? Calling anyone who defended his murder as vile. Am I vile for thinking that the leader of a corporation that chooses to deny life saving care for share holders dying is a good thing for the lives of many? Maybe it's not a proper societal action... Barbaric even... But why don't they say the same thing when it's someone's loved one who is being denied care? Or, better yet, the tens of thousands who have been denied?
