- So don't forget that Hamas' military wing is about 30K, in a population of 2.4 millions, so let's say half are children, so that's 1.2M left, and let's say the other half are women, 600K is roughly the male population of Gaza. So it appears that 1/20 male are associated with Hamas. 5%.

- I think the idea here is that babies (and likely women) aren't part of Hamas so there is 0 justification for killing them. Of course innocent men shouldn't be killed, either, but they could claim they are Hamas militants whereas babies can't be soldiers

  Yeah that's what I meant, I realise that my formulation is bad. He gave unconditional support to Israel and withdrew it once it's been made clear that it's actually bad PR because they indiscriminately bomb and kill. Hence the government of clowns remark.

  May you never see that happen in your country, to your family and friends, and have other people on the other side of the world get on their high horse and claim disproportionate response. What is the proportionate response? Go decapitate some babies in Gaza? Rape and butcher kids in front of their parents?
