at first it was the iran bombing, followed by the pulling out of ukraine arms, and than israels faux ceasfire. and whatever happened to the la protest and raids in the news, it was dropped like a few weeks ago. probably another ound of Tariff distraction.
the ultimate goal was to pass the bbb without much public backlash, using all the above distractions.

This latest disconnect is just solidifying his legacy as a Heritage Foundation puppet. He doesn't know what's in this bill and he doesn't care. He just knows his masters have told him it's good.
And why wouldnt he? After all, he wont be running for election again; either he doesnt manage to cancel the normal electoral process and isnt eligible, or does, and therefore doesnt actually need to run the risk of losing by making it fair enough to potentially lose. The only reason for him to care about popularity is ego, so if just insisting to himself and others that his decisions are popular is enough to convince himself of it, he will.
