What's your favorite snack to take on road trips?

Cheddars. Sadly they don't sell them in Germany.
Ooo, so close. We were looking for Andy Capp's Hot Fries! Even better than the cheddar variety...

  They're honestly not crazy-spicy, just a good flavor!
- Andy Capp use to have a version called “salsa fires” and they were the superior Andy Capp fry. But alas, they discontinued them many years ago.

When we road trip to breweries my gal makes up a "Snacklebox".

Slim Jim’s. Don’t tell me what the real ingredients are; I don’t want to know. Leave me with this one last glimmer of happiness in my life.
Roasted unsalted cashews, pre-rinsed grapes off the vines. Shelled pistachios. Blueberries, if they don't have to sit in a hot car.
- I can't be trusted around shelled pistachios. I will eat myself sick in no time.
Jerky. Lasts a little while, protein actually sticks around for the food/filling functionality of eating snacks
Cheddar cheese pretzel is my Combos pick every time
- it aint a road trip without combos

I can't find those here anymore, but they were AMAZING. They're insanely expensive on Amazon.

My favorite snack is also Value Size!

A good beef jerky is my go-to. Normally I'm a chocoholic, but chocolate isn't great as a road trip snack.
Jerky, mixed nuts, and M&Ms.
Salted sunflower seeds
Fucking love cornnuts
Garden Salsa Sun Chips.
cereal. so many textures to choose from!
capt crunch is a clear fav though
Popcorn, preferably white cheddar.

If Andy Capp actually had his own line of pub crisps like this mock up it would be hilarious, I'd have to try them 😂
I still read Andy Capp from time to time, used to see him in the Mirror but now I get him online!

- To be fair, the wife gave as good as she got. Domestic violence is high-larious dontyouknow.

Pringles, licorice (stick variety like nibs) and some nuts usually cashews

The andy capp's are absolutely correct. Good girl
But even above that, for me it's specifically shredded beef jerky. Cheap, sits nicely in the car door handle, don't have to look to take a hit, can be enjoyed with coffee, 4 or 5 usually last the whole 16 hours. Can't be beaten.
Funyuns, donut sticks, and pecan twirls.
- Funyuns are straight up addictive.
For long trips, inevitably I'll down at least one coconut Red Bull and a packet of mini donuts. A concha if they have one of those stands with Bimbo pastries and sweets.

A green smoothie: slow burning calories
Tomatoes, the smaller the better

- I wouldn't typically judge a person's snack choice, but I've reconcidered.
