It's that Ned from Spiderman?
I bet you this guy also has Nazi flag
Idk this picture is so old that I don't think we were in the fascist resurgence yet.
Oh, this shit has been brewing for a long time. Just not enough people wanted to deal with it when it would have been easy.
And they’d give him the permit.
He‘s an instructor now 😂
Truth
I worked with someone who was an NRA certified instructor, competitive shooter, and all around badass.
She hated these chuds in class because they weren’t just idiots who made things unsafe, but they were also misogynists who wouldn’t listen to her instructions.
who wouldn’t listen to her instructions.
Sounds like some people should fail the class if they can't/won't follow simple instructions
She said she had to kick more than a few out of her class. A couple got banned from the range for being dipshits.
Sounds like the camo clad, face painted, Rambo knife holding guides on some nature trails/ glamping grounds.
CCW = concealed carry warrant?
I just make up nonsense when I don’t know an acronym, so I was thinking closed caption writer.
Concealed Carry Weapon, so likely a pistol
Either that or counter-clockwise!
Gotta shield all that chub
A decent person owns it proud as a physical superior.
"Yet"
I mean his buttons might pop off.
Testing the tensile strength of all that elastic.
I don't know if it's the same everywhere, but where I live, CC classes don't even have guns and you don't shoot. It's all about instructed safety and such.
In Lesser Carolina the teacher is fully armed with multiple concealed guns to show all the ways to conceal. After the classroom session you head out to the range to get tested on marksmanship at different distances.
More red flags than a Red Square parade.
Haha beautiful. They added the ability to customize vest loadouts in Into the Radius 2 and I have stacked 3 mag pouches on top of each other once or twice.
This is good
Is he harming anyone by dressing like that? No, he isn’t - so why shame him for it? Let people do their thing. It’s bullies like this that make everyone so worried about what others think, to the point they can’t freely be themselves.
If you wouldn’t shame a guy for wearing a dress, then you shouldn’t shame one for dressing like a mall ninja either.
I'm not judging him for the outfit, really, I'm judging him for the attitude. His outfit just so happens to directly telegraph his attitude. If I saw a person wearing a dress that said "I like to fuck kids" I would judge that person for that.
He's clearly, at best, extremely paranoid and shouldn't be given a weapon.
His vest doesn't say "I want to shoot people" - I don't think that's a fair comparison. Having a badge with a swastika on it tells more about person's ideological views than a full mall ninja outfit does.
Yeah no, this isn't fucking laser tag, we're talking about weapons of war designed to kill human beings. People like this need to be kept as far away from them as possible.
If you wouldn’t shame a guy for wearing a dress, then you shouldn’t shame one for dressing like a mall ninja either.
A disingenous comparison. It is almost like these are two completely different things with different contexts. Of course we should shame this potential mass shooter for this.
This is the exact same logic people use to paint trans people as perverts or potential rapists - not because of anything they’ve done, but because of the stereotypes their appearance triggers in others. You’re just doing mental gymnastics to deal with the cognitive dissonance of holding two conflicting views at the same time.
I don't think it's about his fashion choice. I think it's about him showing up to the class to be allowed to carry a concealed weapon (that is what CCW is right? I'm not American) looking like he's planning to shoot up a school, that's putting people off.
I see plenty of people dress in ways that “put me off,” but I don’t shame them for it. That’s my issue, not theirs. Unless he’s literally shot up a school, he shouldn’t be treated as if he has. He hasn’t hurt anyone, and you can’t prove that he’s going to. I doubt you’d actually want to live in a world where people are judged based on what you think they might do in the future just because of how they look.
This is a safety training session, it's inappropriate to wear tactical stuff like you're going to get in a fight.
idk, it's generally good to be ready for shit poppin off
Plastic elbow guards aren't effective against bullets
Who's talking about bullets? He specifically mentioned shit. Probably monkeys flinging shit? Dire situation.
My plastic elbow guards were effective in iraq. Mine were used for diving for cover though and i actually needed them. Also i took them off when i came back in the wire because it’s really fucking annoying wearing something that you constantly have to readjust since they always fall down.
Just looked it up - CCW stands for "concealed carry weapon", so this was a gun class.
Thanks I was wondering why they had specific classes to learn to rotate things counterclockwise
No, you have to pass CCW first, and not all of them do.
