It's hard to believe
It's hard to believe
NZ: am I a joke to you?
64ReplyHey, at least you made it on the map.
34ReplyAw come on, bro...
Be nice!
3ReplyI do believe there is a sub on that other site called Maps without New Zealand..
2Reply
On the map only to be excluded from the circle
27Replyit still makes the statement correct
14ReplyYes
6Reply
That's not a circle
48ReplySomething something map projections.
37ReplyThis is a common misconception, this circle is actually a straight line around the globe and the "inside" includes Antarctica and new Zealand. And because there's a race of fully sentient crab people living under the kiwis and totaling 800 billion in number, the map is correct.
Weird that they vote though
24Reply
Thats because the world is flat
5ReplyAh yes, "Mercator Earth Theory" 😂
6Reply
Yeah, we don't even have a name for whateverthefuck shape India is!
2Reply
Thats the worst circle i have ever seen
27ReplyBut you have seen it!
14ReplyThat is just an artifact of the map projection
2ReplyMy thoughts too. Put that back on a globe and it's pretty damn close to a circle! Considering it's hand drawn..
1Reply
That's because of the map projection.
1Reply
Fun fact: every 1 in 2 people make up 50% of the world population.
27ReplyNew Zealand get your shit together
23ReplyAye aye cap'n
5Reply
Yeah? Well at least in NZ we know how to draw a freaking circle. Didn't want to be in your stinky club anyway
21ReplyDeedn't weent tee bee een yeeer steenky cleeeeb eeeneeeweey.
2ReplyNah that's an Aussie accent mate. Way off.
1Reply
I know the author is Terrible Maps so I probably shouldn't complain, but what are those continent colour groupings?
16ReplyThey're not grouped, that's what the planet actually looks like from space.
13ReplyCan't believe I made such a foolish blunder in front of the head of NASA, my apologies doctor
4Reply
Future geopolitical map
6ReplyThe future lacks the Middle East?
1Reply
Are kiwis really people let's be honest
15ReplyWell no, they are a fruit.
18ReplyThose "fruits" you've been eating were birds. :(
13Reply
I wonder how many people live outside the red circle and have to commute to work within it.
11ReplyPermanently Deleted
8ReplyThis is false. The red circle is too small to fit more than maybe a couple fetuses, depending on your screen size.
8ReplyHow many football fields tho
4Reply
TIL
7ReplyCan "in" and "out" be meaningfully defined though, considering that circle is on a globe though?
6ReplyI get the feeling that if this were on a globe, it would appear as a long, thin, and nearly empty circle.
1Reply
I mean, considering this map excludes Antarctica, and there are people living (at least temporarily) in Antarctica, it is technically true.
6ReplyAlso New Zealand, but I've heard that the science is still out about whether or not they actually exist.
12ReplyWe don't, it's a psy-op.
9Reply
You’re forgetting New Zealand haha.
11Reply
How tall is the red wall? If it's only at sea level than this is entirely false, most people's would be above it.
5ReplyIt just goes up all the way
1ReplySo satellites, the moon, the planets all crash into it? Nice try.
1Reply
More humans, anyway.
5ReplyWay to stand up for my alien homies, yo!
2ReplyCrabs, deep sea squids, coral polyps, and sea sponges are all people now.
2ReplyI was thinking of life throughout the rest of the universe
1Reply
How do you know? Maybe there is a race of advanced intra terrestrial humans that live under water. Also this map is missing the great wall of ice that holds the water in place.
1Reply
That is true. As far as I know, nobody lives on my phone screen.
5ReplyThen... wouldn't it be false?
1Reply
More Gentoo live outside red circle than inside of it.
2ReplyI mean, if we can't see the circle that means its a really big one, so.....
Duh....
2ReplyAh this meme makes me nostalgic for back before everyone else got on the internet.
Red circle map, you were joy back in the day
2ReplyYou’re forgetting New Zealand haha.
1ReplyNo.
