Do you use a place mat and how old are you?

Yes. It's part of a normal place setting.

I'm not even using plates. I mostly cook one meal at a time and eat straight from the pot. I'm almost 30.

I’m 40 and I have them on my dinner table, but usually eat on the couch. I am the placemat I guess. 🤷‍♀️

A pizza box is its own plate.

Yes. We have a glass tabletop, so without placemats everything is loud and could scratch the table. Upside of the glass tabletop, aside from the look, is cleaning it is super easy with glass cleaner (not Windex).

Yep we use placemats in our house. It was the first chore we ever gave to my daughter - to gather up the placemats after dinner and put them away in the drawer. I'm 37 by the way.
