- Horrible idea. Pro phones sold out instantly. Lots of resellers show up every morning and buy 4 phone per person max, cash! Pro Max models now November shipping.

iPhone 15. Been dying for that USBC. Dynamic Island is what I can’t wait for but I’m going up from a 12 so kinda the whole thing is gonna be amazing lol

- Same here but with a pro max lol. Going from a base 12 to a 15 pro max is going to be a pretty huge jump for me.

My sister got the pro max in blue and it’s shipped. I did black and it says mid October now 😭

- Yep. I ordered the blue pro max and it's supposedly arriving mid October. I also live in the middle of nowhere, so it was expected... But now hearing someone else is mid October, I'm kinda annoyed.

  This morning I see local stock but since I’ve got that damn preorder with a trade in and monthly payment set up I probably can’t cancel without messing everything up. Ugh.

Got 15 pro and watch 9. Upgrading from an 11 and no watch. Pretty excited

Got my 15 Pro in blue. My first iPhone since the XS so I’m pretty damn excited! It’s slightly bigger than my XS but feels lighter so I need to get used to it. Took almost half an hour for iCloud transfer and now my new phone is trying to download the many apps I probably wouldn’t use haha

What’s everyone’s favorite MagSafe accessories? I’m interested in Anker’s 3 in 1 cube but it’s not available here in Australia

EDIT: just put on my ESR case and I already miss the naked iPhone feeling. I’m not brave enough to use it caseless though.

- I use the MagSafe wallet, and a two in one MagSafe stand with the phone and watch chargers. I love them.

I'm pretty excited this will be my first Iphone. Going from a pixel 3a, it's been a trooper and still runs fine, but ready to make the jump. Ordered a pro in white.

  Got it all set up last night and so far really happy with it so far. A few things I need to learn but that will just come with using the iPhone but I’ll get there.

Not Apple’s fault but I’m pretty annoyed - DHL ended up sending my blue iPhone 15 to the wrong address (on a Friday no less), and they operate half days on Saturday/are closed on Sundays so they’ll only be retrieving the parcel on Monday.

I know this wasn’t exactly what the question asked but it I just felt the need to rant haha.

The braided cable that ships with the phone is a nice touch. Upgraded from 14 pro to 15 pro so as soon as I put it in the case it’s basically the same phone but slightly lighter.

The silent icon next to the time annoys me but you do need some sort of indicator with the switch being removed.

- You can turn that icon off if you’d like. Settings > Sounds & Haptics > Show in status bar.

Picked up the 15 Pro Max in blue today. It is…large.

- I bought a 15 Pro (not max) and it is also quite large. Came from a pixel 5 with a 6” screen so I didn’t think it would be that much bigger. Starting to understand the appeal of the mini sizes.

I had issues last Friday with the pre-order and didn't think to try through the web. So I couldn't get in my 256GB Pro Max in Natural Titanium pre-order until after 0830 and my delivery date had slipped to Oct 4-9th.

But, I just got an email today saying it shipped and it should be delivered sometime between Sept 26-29th so I'm pumped about that.

I'm in desperate need of a new phone, because my current Note 10 is literally falling apart into pieces, and all of my previous phones were decommissioned, because of battery issues after prolonged use. If money comes by, I'll probably upgrade myself to a 15 Pro

- I’m on a XS max (2018 release). Still going strong. I think this is the last year it will get major upgrades.
  
  I checked it out at a retail store thinking it would change my mind but still not convinced to upgrade. I’m definitely thinking next year will be it. The titanium feels kind of nice in my hand tho.
  
  Your phone will probably last 5-6 yrs if you want it to.

Sigh. I’ve got a 14 pro max and there is absolutely no reason to upgrade any time soon, but I want usb c.

  Yeah I’ll wait until I dunno 16 or 17. Even that feels too soon with how long iPhones seem to last. Might even wait until some other big change comes along.

Is it guaranteed that retail stores will have them in stock, or only select versions? I won't buy but want to know how the "titanium" finish feels in my hand. Seems like Apple will stick with this for another year, and will probably upgrade then.

- Guaranteed? No. They’ll have them on display so you could feel them, but likely won’t have many if any to actually buy on launch day. Preorders sold out pretty quickly and started pushing into mid October and early November within a couple of hours of opening up.

- You should definitely be able to play with the display models, but their stock for purchase is going to be extremely limited.
  
  Looking at this sketchy ass site https://iphonechecker.herokuapp.com/ for example, the stores near me had only 512GB Blue versions in stock and now I'm not seeing any stock within 100 miles of me.

  yea I was using the display models. It’s not a bad phone but nothing convinces me to upgrade yet. I’m thinking next year will be the one. Especially considering XS max at the bottom of eligible phones for upgrade this year ha.
  
  yea those third party sites aren’t reliable. The store I went to had a line out the wazoo just for pickup orders. A rep said they had no phones for people to buy.

I went to the store since I didn’t want to wait until October. I got a 15 pro in black with the base storage. I had a 12 mini previously. I’m still getting used to the size but I’m liking the phone so far.

Got iPhone. Really considering watch. But I have the watch that came out with the iPhone 12. I want to upgrade but haven’t been able to justify it lol.

Pre-ordered 15 Pro Max 512 GB Black Titanium and received it today. My Spigen screen protector and case didn't unfortunately make it to me by today, so also had to get temporary cheap screen protector and case. Best features for me coming from 11 Pro Max: USB-C, better cameras in low light and 5G.

A day late, but today was so exciting setting up the new phones. 15 pro in blue to match my watch. I really like the navy blue that looks black until you catch a flash of color. It’s so tiny and light compared to the old 13 Pro

Anyhow, perfect timing - my kid was home from college the first time, so I also set up my old one for him. I hope he takes better care of it than his previous phone - screen was physically damaged enough that Face ID no longer works.

Mine isn’t coming until November, which is crazy but it is what it is.

Bit of a cock-up with the order though which was fun…

Did a preorder on the 22nd before I headed out, set up a trade in and finance via the Apple Store. About 2 hours later I got a text about additional identity checks or whatever, text says you have 90 minutes after clicking the link so I thought that was fine, will sort it when I get home, no luck. Waited on hold for 2:15 the next morning to get through to Barclays finance only to be told you have 90 minutes from the delivery of the text and because I missed the window I had to cancel and re-order, which is a bloody stupid thing.

Got the order cancelled and resubmitted but now I have to wait until November… 7-14th is my window. 😭😭😭
