  I'm not saying it's exactly the same, but I've heard of American kindergarten teachers being told to take down the color learning rainbow decor which were NOT pride flags because bigoted parents threw a huge fit about the gay decorations. I've seen unironic videos of people claiming any decor featuring a rainbow in a classroom is LGBTQ indoctrination. And they were pointing at cartoon depictions of the sky, like with smiling clouds and suns.

  Definitely AI generated. Look at the bottom-right of the Confederate flag. It’s all messed up, classic generative AI “artifacting” for lack of a better word for it.

- It looks like it was ai upscaled. Zoom into the letters or the rounded corners of the picture. It's easier to spot that way.
  
  yeah I did some digging and one of the earlier posts I found of this was back in april 21 and it was much smaller. Definitely seems to be upscaled. Certainly looks fake when you zoom in on this. The Soviet flag actually looks worse in this compared to the other image I saw.

  Look at the other pictures posted in this comment thread. The picture OP used was a particularly terrible version of it for some reason, there are other versions that don't look nearly as bad.
  
  Yeah so apparently it's a real picture taken quite some time ago that has been upscaled. It looks absolutely horrendous though and 100% fake, especially the parts you highlighted. I guess I'm not terminally online enough to recognize a repost or something, but weirdly enough I'm OK with that.
- The bricks are throwing me off, but it could be the camera quality.
