As a 52 year old that has been skateboarding since the 1970's I take great offense with anyone that tries to gatekeep skateboarding. Skateboards are always cool.

I think it's all about perspective. Say the Patty Cake one. A 30 year old doesn't seem "cool" doing it according to the chart. But a 30 year old who sits down with a 5 year old and does it... That kid thinks they are pretty cool.

Na, juuls use a salt crystal delivery system, vapes use an oil base concentrate.

Salt nic is not exclusive to Juul, and only weed vapes use an oil. Vape juice is propylene glycol and vegetable glycerol with flavoring and nicotine.
(Source here is me, went to vapes to successfully quit smoking back when there was more threading than a 510, when mods were a milled tube and a button or flashlight guts, with an rca connector on top so you could switch between different thread types. It sucks what its become, it was really helpful for me to quit nicotine completely by having a vape.)

There's nothing cool about having to live alone because the person you been married to for 50+ years died and you can't bring yourself to meet soemone else out of heartache, even after 10 or 20 years.
It is pretty cool though if you do manage to meet someone else, when you're 90 and now you're popping viagra like candy.

I did for about two months before COVID, then immediately needed a roommate to afford to live again.

I'm 62. I retired in January. In February, my 30-year marriage ended. I'm living alone for the first time in decades, and I never really did it very long before (a few years in my late 20s. It's very strange. at this age.

Not that old. Juul isn't even that old. When I used vaping to quit smoking before stopping both, you had to have a basic understanding of electronics for mechanical and box mods to make coils and such. Tanks weren't that great at that point so I used a drip tip which I did actually enjoy at the time. I recognize this might sound like being like hipster or something, but its crazy seeing where vaping is now.

I disagree with the "complaining about young people" line having coolness increase proportionally with age: when I was a young adult, I often joked about kids these days in a way that seemed to get a lot of laughs. The humour was in the fact that I was a young person talking about young people as if I wasn't one of them (and beneath that was me making light of the text that, likely due to being autistic, I have always felt isolated from my peer group).
Anyway, I got good at leveraging this for humour, but as I aged, the joke potential expired: I was too old for there to be any irony in saying "kids these days", but not old enough for it to be cool to complain about young people.
On the bright side, I am sufficiently old to be able to torment young people by misusing their slang. It's most likely effective if you use the slang in a mostly right way, so I enjoy the challenge of needing to actually understand correct usage of new slang. Amusingly, studying current slang as an outsider is a skill I'm well versed in, given that I had to do this even when I was young.

I remember patty-cake games being super popular in elementary school, and it switched to hacky sack games in late middle school through high school. I think the graph is accurate.

Is drinking age not a big thing in other countries? In the US there would be a drop from 19/20 birthdays and a spike at 21 that drops down again for 22.

Drinking age is 18 in most of the world (with 16 also applying some places). Additionally, my impression is that it's not as big a deal for 16-17 year olds to get ahold of alcohol in other places.
Where I'm from, the drinking age is 18, but it's not uncommon or a big deal for people to get some beer or drinks for their 17th birthday party.
