As useful and needed as these might be, I can only imagine that anyone actually living in one would be constantly harassed by local authorities for parking/zoning violations.
Society needs to be better!
- I'm imagining waking up in the middle of the night to someone riding the whole thing away with me still in it
  
  Ideally there's a way to lock it down from the inside. A bar through the back wheel(s) or something.
- There's space in the US west. But, one can't live in those places without a motor or engine to procure water and food.

- It's still better than a tent or anything like it i presume. Because if someone is harassing them they can just pedal away.
On one hand this is a nice way to help those in need.
On another I can't help but look and feel like I'm getting a glimpse of the working classes future. Capitalism needs to fucking die already.

I applaud the idea, but I can't imagine an American city that would let these hang around for long. Police are already pretty "great" about making sure people can't sleep in their cars overnight anywhere.
And then you want the owner to pedal this to an RV dump station? That's simply not happening. Best case, they park it near a rainwater sewer drain and literally dump their shitpile in the road.
Sadly, what we're really missing is the foundation. We're going to need governments to step up & start making vanlife legal. Enable driver's licenses & IDs without a permanent address. Create parks specifically for people living in vehicles. (Of course, the better solution would be to make living more affordable, but we're currently heading in the opposite direction).

  Unfortunately, that's going to be the main reason that vehicles like this won't be allowed to catch on. If you'll pardon the pun, there are shitty people on both sides of this - people who don't want to be reminded of 'the poors', and people who will dump literal shit outside other people's homes. Both of those groups help to stop us from having nice things :(
We should be giving these away.
I can only imagine trying to pedal one of these things up any decent incline would be near impossible.
