TIL norway has a homocide map with exact locations of murders.
The map contains exact locations of homocides from the 2000s to now. You can zoom in far enough to see the neighborhood the murder(s) happened in. I'm sorry that the site is primarily in Norwegian, but you should still be able to zoom around. Wonder of there's a global map that's that detailed.

68ReplyAll I see is
44ReplyDid you mean Homicide map, or is it indeed called a Homocide map?
39ReplyWell, there's one terror attack that happened on the island of utøya, apparently 69 people were killed
35ReplyWow, Sweden is so much safer! \s
29ReplyHow do I report murders that aren't showing up on the map? I've tried refreshing a million times and I'm 100% sure the murders are finalized?
26ReplyHmm, that's weird, they missed one.
What?
22ReplyWell.... It's not "Norway has a map of murders", but a newspaper in Norway has made a map of murders in Norway.
22ReplyWow, look how safe Sweden is! Not a single red dot!
22ReplyNote to self, don't visit Olso, visit Stockholm. /s
21ReplyHomicide* ... unless you actually mean homocide.
15ReplyInteresting that this map also specifies who was the victim.
15ReplyThe closer you are to Denmark the more murderous you become...
15ReplyAnd for the other side of the border våldskartan.se or map of shootings.
14ReplyThis documentary was inspired by the murder of Gunnar Gunnarssonsson: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=I-OOpZitfd0
8ReplyLooks like there is a little bit of space for a new "northernmost" murder left; southernmost is already a done deal.
7ReplyDamn... seeing the faces of the victims makes the impact even bigger.
7ReplySo if I visit the area, just avoid Norway and go hangout in Stockholm instead.
7ReplyThe UK has something similar but you can search by all types of crime https://crimerate.co.uk/crime-map
6ReplyI’d like to see such a map for mass shootings in the U.S.
6ReplyThere's one in the ocean
5ReplyIt's time to light up this map! /s
5ReplyBeing able to look through all of the details of the victims and crimes feels a little ghoulish.
5ReplyNow I want to know how many murders happened across Jo Nesbø's novels compared to the actual number of murders in Norway.
4ReplyPer year or all time?
4ReplyWhat the island halfway down the shaft that's way off the mainland?
4ReplyWhat the fuck happened to Oslo?
