it's always so washed out, every. single. AI. IMAGE. regardless of style they all look washed out and flat. there's zero vibrant colors for anything. One of them just gorged on this "trend" and all the rest of them followed suite eating the slop.
It's gotten to the point now where you don't even need to look at the inaccuracies with something, you just need to look at the colors to tell if it's AI or not.

- The style used did it for me. It seems distinct for at least one popular engine (chatgpt?) as it pops up everywhere. Especially the face and hands.
- They all have this exact art style, you'll start to see it everywhere.
- it just the default gpt art style.
- uniform line weight, creamy yellow ground, font and text placement.
- pay attention to how intentional things are. nothing in this picture is motivated. the man has his arm raised, but not in a welcoming manner, more like he's saying hi. he also isnt looking at the viewer. there is also no discernable landmark or important features. the only other thing is a bus, which doesnt have a door on the right, which i dont know about you, but every bus ive seen in north America has the door on the right.
  a real advertisement for Canada would likely ask you to visit or experience something about Canada, like a national park or iconic building in a city, or have a recognizable public figure. it absolutely would not bring up something objectively negative like being deported in the same space as an invitation to visit.
  all im saying is that, there is a basic language to art and this reads like an alien that is aware that there are rules but does not understand why there are rules nor how they operate
- All the AI drawings have a grainy piss-yellow tone, idk why but it makes the identification easier
- Who has ever seen a yellow Canada tour bus? Pretty much the only yellow busses in US and Canada are for school.
- The trees on the left are strangely offset upwards, there is a line down the windshield which I have never seen on a bus like that, the bus also does not have a door at the front, which they typically do, and to a lesser degree that yellow looks like it belongs to a school bus, while this clearly isn't one

It was difficult to get into Canada when I immigrated ten years ago (it was deeply complicated even as a sponsored individual), and I hear it's even more difficult now. It's a shame, because I know that the idea of escaping to Canada is a hopeful thing for many Americans. I was extremely fortunate. However, the housing shortage alone and a general anti-American sentiment has cast a huge shadow on new entries. Canadians remain as friendly as ever, but trust between them and Americans is also at an all-time low. People at work know I'm American and they love hearing my take on everything, but I don't spread that information to new ears anymore.

I suppose it might be cool for Canada to do a 2-for-1 swap, where they send Texas pairs of whiny, privileged conservatives in exchange for good, left-leaning Americans who actually want to be here.

- Line weight. The round eyes. The color. The exact same smile. Same angles to the viewer. 45 or direct... There are so many telltale signs.
- Honestly the silver lining with all this is how innately obvious it is what it is currently.
  Literally just reeks of the same level of effort as someone making a meme out of clipart or one of those boomers that uses that fancy Facebook status feature.

  this comic artstyle is very characteristic of AI, down to the line weight, facial expression (these soulless eyes and smile), and how the character is positioned;
  the bus has no door;
  the picture has a yellow-ish tint, which has been plaguing certain AI image generators ever since the AI Ghibli trend. They likely overtrained their slop machines on Studio Ghibli works and various other "cozy" artstyles/pictures.
- it's the exact same style used in almost all ai slop comics lately. you can tell by face alone; it's almost identical in all of them, even with different features (like facial hair).
- It seems to spit this out whenever you ask for comic style. I couldn't tell you exactly what it is.
- The colors in a lot of AI images are very yellow

I don't even know what it is. Ive stared at it for at least a solid two minutes looking for errors. It screams AI to me but I cant find that detail that proves it. I hate that this is what sharing pictures online has become. Scrutinizing every little detail to see if I should care or not.
