13I've moved to a colder climate, so wear socks indoors now. The dog and I have drift king battles. He has a cool signature move where he sprints across the lounge room onto his bed and slides it halfway into the kitchen. But I got him on hallway slides to the bathroom where such pace can only be achieved with superior control.
13Check into adult daycare for an extended weekend, for an upgrade to grippy socks. 👀

6Oof. My yard is 2 acres of redwoods and ferns, with a pond and a meadow.
5True, new houses here, the back yard you can not even put a 15" pool, there's not enough space. Some people just have no grass in their backyard, just a big wood balcony/terrace with their bbq, table, chairs, etc. No more mowing!

In some places you'd be lucky to get more than about 60 days per year when you could use the yard.
Winter, rain, 30+ degree summers, etc.

My dog would do over half his zoomies going over the furniture. May as well spread it around to get him more exercise.
7Mine has a habit of moving furniture just by jumping on it really hard. It's why all my stuff is pushed up against the wall now.

3I see the bathroom has a flush in a water closet with a door as opposed the flush being in the same room as your bathing area and sink. I wish American houses would do this more, it’s just more hygienic
2Everyone just needs to make it a habit to close the lid before flushing.
And for those public toilets with auto-flush and no lid, I get around it by draping TP over the sensor while I do my business, flush it manually when I'm done and the door is open so I can quickly jump outside the stall.
