The listed excerpts are actually quite tame compared to what the actual plan is.

The easiest method for disarming the horrific optics of project 2025 would be for trump to campaign on doing the opposite of just a few of the stickier nuggets. It’s easy, trump lies all the time. The fact that he hasn’t done so indicates that it would hurt either his pride or his polls, and both are distressing options.

Remember when he urged his base to get vaccinated and they slowly cranked the snek flag past his colon in response? I don’t know whether trump does but his campaign team recalls.
