Mine is brown
Mine is brown
Mine is brown
Infrared. Just being in its presence literally harms you.
What Pantone number is that? I want to get a tie that colour
Same vibes but ultra-violet for me.
Mine would be pink, I think
Forest green.
Like what the fuck were they thinking with that one.
Yellow. Especially on cars or t-shirts. Just...bleh.
Dark yellow. Rare color, but ugly.
Do you mean Baby Diarrhea yellow?
I love every color but the context is everything.
Reddish brown.
Pink. I really don't like pink, nor most red shades.
Pastels, can I just loathe all pastels? Because I do.
Red used to be my favorite color. Then I worked at Target years ago and it's been teal ever since.
But I will fight you over pastels, at least in watercolor.
oh yeah, lime green is usually very tacky
Only looks good on limes
yellowish brown
Like pee when dehydrated?
This color:
It's the color that can be orange or brown depending on the surrounding colors.
Hunting season is close!
LAVENDER fuck lavender
hate it get some saturation the matter with you
edit: oh no sorry beige, fuck you get some hue as well. Why they keep making baby clothes these rank desatured hues is beyond me. If you're in a store you can clearly see at what age/size children start to choose their clothes as well from the sudden color explosion.
Fuck hue*
Clearly, the worst colour is ocean gray. Such a dowdy old colour. Military gray is superior in every way.
All gray is bad.
Enough with black, white and gray. If I see another b/w/g Tesla model Y I'm going to puke on it just so it has some color.
Quit being a pussy and get a purple car, a green car, orange, whatever.
Y'all gonna die one day and nobody will be on their death bed saying "wow, I am so happy that I avoided color my whole life, I win".
Just because they stock them doesn't mean everyone has to buy them.
Also, which is it? You have to pay more for neat colors or non-colors have a higher resale? Can't be both.
I can say that when I bought my car (used) it was about $2000 more than equivalent cars because it is bright green. All the bland colors were always cheaper.
I'm willing to believe that dealers charge more for colors, but its clear that they carry more value. You dont need 20 people to buy a used car, just one.
I did a search on cargurus for Subaru crosstreks and corvettes. Blue for each, white for each. There are always fewer blue in both cases and they are in all but a few cases, more expensive.
Most people who buy a new car buy one that is already on the lot. They stock gray and silver because it's popular and has a high resale value. This policy reinforces the statistic. You have to pay more for neat colors and then you have to wait a while for it to arrive.
It"s all about the medium its on though. I was about to say bright green as there are these houses nearby of this playground bright green color and I hate them but then a thin leaf of the same color is absolutely beautiful. So it really depends what's being colored.
Chartreuse
Puce
Any obnoxiously bright color puts my teeth on edge. Magenta and yellow are the worst.
bugger green.
Red.
It's so loud, obnoxious and in your face, I hate it.
It's only somewhat acceptable on very small things, tiny accents etc.
And I have a theory hear me out: no car in the world looks the best in red, there is always another color that looks better. Yes, even Ferraris and Alfas. Prove me wrong.
Have you seen the Chinese parliament?
Which looks beautiful at wide angle like this with the ceiling and all but IRL what you would be seeing is this:
Straight eye aneurism lmao
Ya that's... ooof 😂
1000%. Ever seen a Ferrari in a sky blue? Shit rocks way harder than red. In GT7 my friend and I painted a 512 to be full carbon and that thing looks incredible.
The only exceptions where it at least looks pretty decent are Miatas and other small cars like Minis Fiat 500s.
Oh boy am a I glad we're not IRL friends because this would really upset my wife with her Ferrari red Seat Ibiza 😂
I'm so sorry dude 😂😂 Seat Ibiza AND in red, that's a double whammy of awfulness Hope your car is neither red nor a Seat 😄
I really like this trend I'm seeing about posts asking for least fav things. Personally, mine is:
Omg, it IS looks like the color of my dogs vomit from earlier.
When light gray is used for a background to call it a "dark theme", instead of just going #000000
Mine is also brown, but I'm ok with wood and trees that are naturally that color: I just hate the thought that people would paint things/dress themselves in such a depressing color.
: wears all black, ironically:
Fuscia actually hurts the eyes
Whatever that color scheme is for all the US national parks. They picked the ugliest shades of brown and green I have ever laid eyes on. Every time I go to a national park, the facilities painted in those colors gives me a deep depression...
Yellow. 1-star
D:
:)
What is this Brown you speak of? Do you mean Dark Orange?
Brown doesn't exist. I'm with you.
Brown doesn't exist for RGB LEDs. Agreed.
Brownish green
Holy shit I had that very thought like two days ago. I always hate people who go on about favourite because well, I love all colours, really. Yeah, even beige or greys can be beautiful in the right context.
And so I thought to myself, "now hate, that would be interesting to know the reasons!" This is gonna be a fun read.
And to contribute I don't have a hated colour either but I do remember being absolutely annoyed at CSI Miami egregious use of colour contrasts. Like Nick with his red (orange) hair vs his blue clothes / eyes. The lab with its purple vs yellow hues. And I do remember a great episode where it all happened in the jungle and it just kept on hammering red vs green. It was funny at first, but it was so unsubtle, it really got to my nerves after a while.
Neon/fluorescent colors. For a highlighter color, sure in small doses. For everything else... It's not for me. It just overwhelms me.
I hate the way magenta reveals the subjective nature of how we interpret wavelengths of light as colors.
What a pretentious ass color
Fancy green bastard.
landlord beige
Too few layers of white paint on peeling wallpaper, featuring the corpse of a bug
If you’re looking for this in the paint isle it’s called magnolia
my least favorite is approximately #e3ff00
also i dislike grays becsuse they're in so many places they have no business being in, gray is too overused.
i love cyan, light bluish green and turquoise. purple is fine too, pink is ok. weird yellow green is not a good color.
I used to love grey. And then sometime in the mid-2000's, automakers decided that they loved it too. And every damn vehicle on the road was grey.
Then, we got a new CEO at work. And he thought our facilities needed a refresh, but shouldn't look "institutional".
So every damn surface was painted grey with a darker shade of grey for the trim. It felt like I was working on a WW2 battleship. In black and white.
Now I can't fucking stand it.
Shouldn't look too institutional so he went with grey? I associate grey with institutions so heavily. It's cubicle color.
That said, I'm a huge fan of the old great society era government building style
Fake tan orange
Yellow is meh
Love brown though
Octarine. Some people say it's beautiful, but I just can't see it
Yeah it's overhyped for sure. It's just kinda greenish yellow-purple.
Idk I think it looks magical
Red
Am bull
That mustardy-green color from the 70s and early 80s. Just looks weird on furniture.
Like chartreuse?
I think they're thinking more a pea soup green
Or that nicotine baige yellow color
No hated color, but I dislike the number 6
I've always distrusted 3
i have an acquaintance that hates the number 3 so much that her writing project goes from chapter 2 to 4
3 is my favorite number, and by extent 9.
How can you ? But 3 is the best number. With 9 which is 3x3
I always wondered what mak numbers attractive or districting. Did you ever found why you dislike it ?
Yellow
I don't know if I have a least favorite overall - there is a color between brown and green I find distasteful but there are colors I like but not for certain things.
I cannot wear orange, or coral. They make me look like I am green and sick.
I can't stand red on walls. We moved into our house and the kitchen was painted red it was almost offensive. I think they were going for "Tuscan" . My grandma's house had a Red Room and I never liked it either.
Floors should not be gray planks pretending to be wood but clothing in that color can be so beautiful. I have a gray silk cami and it is like liquid mercury looking, so pretty.
Puke Green. It's fucking hideous.
You get shades of this as a Material You color theme in Android when setting your background to trees/greenery...
I love it.
I think there are worse greens
Has puke ever been that color outside of cartoons?
Maybe if you eat an excessive amount of pea soup before you get sick.
Pretty sure I've seen shag carpet from the 70's in that exact shade.
It's a weirdly common color for interior paint jobs in old houses, too. Kitchens and things.
Acid yellow is a close second if not tie.
Seems like these days for about half of America it’s brown
I particularly dislike that Pepto Bismol Hot Pink color. It hurts my eyes to look at it. It's tacky, it's gaudy, and the fact that it causes me actual physical pain in large enough quantities is enough for me to dislike it.
since i got into art i don't dislike any colour, i do dislike how they sometimes get used though - puke yellow-green might be ugly as the base, but as a highlight to something green it's very pretty!
Yellow. Almost all yellow painted/colored things make me mad. Yellow flowers do not have the same effect, however.
I think it might be the same for me. It's like the hardest for me to see and just thinking about it makes me squint my eyes because of its harshness.
So years ago I was into mountain biking, and decided I was going to buy a decent bike, well the model I liked was sold out but the guy said " if your ok with yellow I've got one in the back we can't sell" ended up getting the bike I wanted, in yellow, and he gave me $50 off. I started telling everyone yellow was my favorite color and at this point it really is. It's fun cause it is probably the least favorite color so I'm constantly find things in yellow when the other colors are sold out, also yellow things end up in discount bins. It's been 25 years now and I honestly get a happy feeling when I find something I want in yellow.
I am happy for you, but you are also wrong. Yellow is awful.
Yellow is my favorite color.. Sure, there are a lot of bad yellows out there, but the good yellows are lovely
0% saturated grey. Blue grays can be cool
I don't ever find myself wanting anything that is pink. I really think most colors are pleasant and have their place. Pink just gives me a sense of... needy? Overbaring and loud, i guess.
Grey.
Everything is fucking grey these days. It's the only colour they seem to know to build with. Need to paint a window, door, fence, any portion of the building that isn't brick? Grey!
Bloody miserable.
I hate colour palettes more than specific colours.
And yellow brown green earth tones are at the height of dislike.
Literal puke piss and shit colour everywhere. Gross
cottagecore
? I don't understand sorry
Orange. It's the "please look at me" color, it's grating and annoying
Brown? Oh my god America! Get off the internet, we have work in the morning!
Beige.
Oblivion is beige.
Oh beige is the worst
Dark yellow! Yellow is inherently bright and sunny, when you try to make it dark it becomes a hideous contradiction.
We just call that brown
That would be dark orange.
Idk, brown? Actually, the color I love the most, I hate the most too. Cyan disrupts your circadian rhythm.
My house had really gross almost nude colored accent walls and doors. It was awful. I painted over it before I moved in so I wouldn't have to see the disgusting color every day.
We had a house like that. We often called it FleshTone. Sometimes Band-Aid.
We repainted the first week after we moved in. Yeech.
The upstairs bedroom of my old house had that interlocking bead board siding and was painted “sphincter”. A light pink with a hint of brown. It was something. With all the crevices it took a lot of work to paint it blue.
That's vile. I'm glad you got rid of that color. Painting things colors like that should be considered a crime against humanity and punishable by life in prison.
100 % salmon. Unfortunately one of my neighbours painted their entire house like that and it pisses me off every day walking my dog.
My favourite colour is bright orange, like candy. Followed by bright yellow, like canary feathers.
The colour I hate is the nasty pumpkin-flesh yellow-orange ochre that exists between them.
Probably makes me hard to buy for that people think they're getting me a nice orange thing in 'my favourite colour' 🤮
You know when You have a couple different leftover paints but You need to paint something bigger and You don't really care how it will look? So You just mix them all together with some white and slap that on? It never comes out as a pretty colour, always some vile shade of brown. I once rented an apartment clearly painted like that. Every wall was the same colour. Pale, pinkish brown.
There is a reason why mixing paint at random will result in roughly the same brown every time. Basically, all paints are combinations of different pigments, no paint is “exactly red” or “exactly” anything. And those not-exactlys mix up and give you brown all the time. I also hate it the most.
All colors have their place. I love them all. Except maybe a really pale purple. Who needs that?
I love a pale purple. I prefer a nice cyberpunky eyebleed bluish purple but a nice pale lilac is beautiful
Me, I do. I need all the purple and lilac shades. Brown on the other hand...
Brown is legitimately one of my favorite colors, especially for clothes and...well...most other tangible items. Deep down, I think you understand and resent the fact that having brown beside it is one of the only ways your twisted pale purples can look halfway decent.
Surely you mean dark orange.
The color that came from space, it fell one day from the sky, or from… somewhere else. It got into the ground, the plants, the water, the animals, and… and us. It changed things, mutated reality around it, turned them into a form more like where it came from. I can’t picture it when I think about it, the color, it doesn’t exist in the human mind, it doesn’t belong here, but I still remember seeing it… and I can’t forget what it did. I’m still not sure if I ever got away from it, if you can get away from it… It was a color out of space…
Nic Cage did a film version of that and it was actually pretty good.
Fucking loved that movie.
Yeah? Do you know which film?
Just murky colours, khaki or camo or anything actual Murky or Lurky would wear, from Rainbow Brite, because I just look at myself and still say, yuck, you look like Murky and Lurky. Fun fact, just realised I named one of my kids after one of the colour kids! Another fun fact, when I was 3yo, I decided I was done with my home and I was running away to live with Rainbow Brite, I patiently waited for a Rainbow to appear in the sky, grabbed my favorite toy, said sorry to all the ones I had to leave behind, walked to the end of the street and, then realised I could go no further because I wasn't allowed to cross the road, so I, defeated, returned home.
Love little ones that when asked their favourite colour say “rainbow”
I actually don't hate that color, a brownish olive black is kinda tasteful imo. That said, the lungs on there are a different story
Good ol' #4a412a
yellow
it's aggressive, but not in a good way, like red
Yellow is my favorite color. I've been told that it is the color of creativity and intelligence.
I've also been told that it is a color of anger though.
nah dog, intelligence is blue
but I can see yellow as creative
Millennial gray is my least favorite color
And what shade of grey is that?
The one that gets criticized for failing to thrive by the older colors who prepared them for a world that never came to be.
The shade of my depressing cubicle at work.
Orange, like what am I supposed to do with it ?
Orange can be a really nice highlight color in an earth or jewel tone, but a bright orange is very easy to overdo
Perfect autumn color. Halloween, leaves in a colored cornucopia of orange.
Sunburst guitars are incredibly pretty. Nothing like an old Les Paul to play your heart out on.
Put it against black, wear it in October.
Dam, I actually painted my bedroom orange years ago, lol. I loved it. I then met a girl who would become my wife, and she hated it so much.
I hate yellow so fucking much.
Found Green Lantern.
I know, it's the colour of bile ffs
To be fair, you can do that with every color. Pink is the color of rashes, blue/purple of bruises, red is blood, orange you glad I'm stopping?
The color white, specifically in the context of clothing.
I'll pass on the coolest t shirt ever if its only available on white.
Mental health yellow and green. That stupid mint green. Please never show me those colors again
I strongly dislike red unless it is a pinkish or purplish red in which case I really like it. I will agree that beige is boring but I don't hate it. Otherwise I like every other color, including stereotypically ugly colors like puke green.
Yeah the "real" red is so ugly. Like carmine.
blue.
do I need to elaborate on why?
It's because of that song, isn't it?
no. it's because so-called color experts have determined it's the color of trust, and now every charlatan wraps their products on blue. also, cops.
also, I'm color deficient, and it gives me problems.
This made me lol
I'm with you. Fucking everything is blue. What's amazing to me is that it's still sometimes amazing, though, in the right shade. But way overused, on average.
That is a much difficult question than I initially thought. I think it is the high saturated slightly dark orange. Mainly because I do some design works, and it is bloody difficult to find a matching color. So far I found only white or black.
Pink
Pink is my favourite colour. Fight me.
Shocking.
Aerosmith wrote a song with that line in it!
LOL, to each their own.
Green. I hate the artificial use of green. Nature green is beautiful. Green in clothes, furniture, walls, cars...Hate it
:( Well, I like green.
🤷
I used to hate yellow. But now I know how to use it. So... Brown, I guess. It's not that I hate it, I just would never purposely make anything brown.
Baby diarrhea green
Baby poop green.
One man's baby poop color is another man's stunning winter coat and hot new SUV color.
I always hated the red color in the 4-bit vga color palette. It just seemed so washed out.
Currently that "Black Cherry" that Schecter guitars is doing. I play lefthanded so there's not that many options when you want something slightly more specialized (in this case, a >=27"-scale 7-string guitar under 1000€), and Schecter apparently decided that they have to make their only lefty model in that configuration this fuck-ugly color/pattern. What happened to boring old black? I don't really like black guitars, either, but at least it looks neutral.
Seafoam makes me feel angry
Purple. Quick explanation: Ravens, R. Madrid, Újpest (Hungarian soccer).
All colors are valid
What about Octarine
That desert tan color the Army painted everything for 20 years.
Ah, yes. Neon Beige. Bright and boring at the same time.
There's a lot of cars driving around now that seem to be clay coloured. That's the colour I hate, the blend nothing colour.
Who goes to the dealership and says I want my car to be the colour of I washed out clay landscape on a rainy day in the Arctic circle?
